Mothballed Grumman sea rescue aircraft create a strange pattern of metamorphosis through attrition as the are slowly stripped for part at the Davis-Monthan Air Base near Tuscon AZ. In its rhythm and pattern this painting is an homage to Degas' "The Ballet Master".
